Stevensons are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with revolutionary sportswear brand Viper 10.
A Bournemouth-based brand, Viper 10 Sportswear was founded in 2010 when a small team of sports enthusiasts saw a niche in the market for a performance teamwear brand, which offered industry-leading customer service, innovative new products and a commitment to building a loyal family of enthusiastic brand supporters.
Launched as a proud part of Diamond Sporting Group, founded by Roger and Fleur Woodall, Viper 10 grew exponentially; with the brand now providing kit for in excess of 4000 sports teams whilst also securing endorsement from some of the world’s leading athletes such as England Netball Superstar, Geva Mentor.
The Viper 10 team, who specialise in providing sportswear for Universities, Colleges and Sports Clubs will join XXV Performance Sportswear, bringing a unique combination of sporting clients, creative staff and a well-deserved reputation for innovation.
Since forming in 1925, Stevensons has grown into one of the UK’s most established and reputable schoolwear and sportswear businesses. Still independent and family-owned, the company now provides a range of school uniform and sportswear to over 500 schools across the UK.
As part of the tie-up, Viper 10 will offer a range of creative and digital marketing services across the Stevensons Group as it continues its rapid expansion in the schoolwear and sportswear markets.
The deal will also see Viper 10 remain the Exclusive Sportswear Partner of the award-winning Bournemouth 7s Festival. Welcoming 30,000 people and over 400 teams per year, Bournemouth 7s has become synonymous with Viper 10 and will continue as the flagship event in the brand’s calendar.
Viper 10 Managing Director Stephanie Essex, who will continue to lead the team, commented:
“Over the past six years, Viper 10 has grown beyond recognition into one of the UK’s favourite sportswear and teamwear brands. With an amazing team, celebrated ambassadors and a streamlined approach to providing kit, we are perfectly positioned for this next phase in the brand’s journey. We’re genuinely excited about moving forwards with Stevensons.”
John Stevenson, Joint Managing Director at Stevensons, added:
“We are thrilled to have secured the partnership between Stevensons and Viper 10 Sportswear. The brand perfectly compliments our existing business portfolio and will continue to deliver an amazing service and premium sportswear to clubs, universities and schools up and down the country. One thing is for certain, exciting times lie ahead.”
Viper 10 will stay in its existing base on the South Coast and will retain the staff and approach which have set it apart in its journey so far.
