Viper 10 Unveil Netball Scotland Captain Claire Brownie as the latest V10 Athlete

6th July 2017

Viper 10 Sportswear is overjoyed to announce that Claire Brownie has joined the Viper 10 family and will be the latest addition to the V10 Athlete team.

It is every young athletes dream to captain their country one day but few ever manage to achieve this accolade. Through hard work and determination, Claire has managed to accomplish this dream and is proud to captain the Scottish Thistles, who are currently ranked 12th in the INF world rankings.

Claire is a tenacious competitor and was named captain of Scotland’s only professional netball team, Sirens Netball, immediately after joining the side in 2017. Sirens promise to inspire a positive change in the manner in which netball is perceived in Scotland and Claire will be a pivotal figure in making this aim a reality.

This month will also see Claire pass on this knowledge by supporting the u21 Netball Scotland World Youth Championship Team as a member of the coaching team in Botswana. The championship will commence on Saturday 8th July and Viper 10 will be following the girls through every step of their journey!

The Viper 10 team couldn’t be prouder to be working alongside another illustrious name within the Netball world. Claire will join professional Netball players Geva Mentor, Chelsea Pitman and Stacey Francis who already work alongside and advocate the UK based sports brand.

Netball Scotland has seen continuous growth in recent years and now has an incredible number of registered members, surpassing the 6,000 milestone during the 2016/17 season! There is no doubt that exciting times lie ahead for Netball Scotland and Viper 10 Sportswear feel privileged to be the official kit supplier for Netball Scotland.
