Last month Viper 10 became the official kit supplier for Netball Scotland and are now delighted to announce the launch of the Netball Scotland U21 Dress ahead of their journey to the Netball World Youth Cup which is being hosted in Botswana, commencing on Saturday 8th July.
Stephanie Essex, Managing Director of Viper 10 explains more: “Viper 10 were tasked with creating a youthful and aspirational kit for the Netball Scotland Under 21s who will be competing in the Netball World Youth Cup next week. Our talented design team have used ‘Dream. Believe. Achieve.’ as the campaign message for this fantastic group of talented athletes and included this statement within the dress design as a constant reminder to the players throughout the competition what they are capable of.
Netball Scotland is leading the way as a governing body, continually exceeding targets and growing the sport we all love. We have been truly inspired and motivated by the level of detail and organisation surrounding every aspect of the team’s preparation ahead of next week’s competition. It was only right that our design team gave the players what we believe will be the dress design of the tournament for the Netball World Youth Cup. Netball Scotland’s future is looking very bright and we are delighted to be a part of that journey.”
The dress presentation was hosted over the weekend at the Netball Scotland 2017 Awards Evening where Claire Nelson, CEO for Netball Scotland commented: “We are so excited to be able to formally launch our new partnership with Viper 10 Sportswear with the Scotland U21s official Netball World Youth Cup match kit. This new kit perfectly represents why we chose to work with the V10 team – they create innovative, stylish and stand-out high performance teamwear that gives the whole team that extra vital 1% as they head into competition. If the athletes look and feel good, they perform better!
This latest design combines the tradition and patriotism that makes Scotland the proud and passionate nation that it is, with a bright, modern approach that reflects the bold, ambitious direction that the sport and organisation is blazing forward in.”
The draw sees the squad placed in Group A alongside New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Samoa and Sri Lanka. All games will be live streamed through the official Netball World Youth Cup Youtube Channel so you will be able to catch the girls in action across the tournament!
